Who we are
This website, https://angeloseglobal.com, is run by Angelose Global Limited, a company registered in Nigeria (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, email us at contact@angeloseglobal.com.
We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Where it applies to visitors outside Nigeria, we also follow the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What personal data we collect and why
Contact form. When you send the contact form, we collect your name, email address, WhatsApp number (if you give it), the service you are interested in, your budget range, and your message. We use this to reply to you and prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your request to us (steps before entering a contract) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address (and name if you give it) to send you our newsletter. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Booking a call. If you book a consultation through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
WhatsApp. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, profile name, and messages, which we use to reply.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages visited, time on site, device and approximate location). We use this only to improve the website, and only after you accept analytics cookies.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the site to work, such as remembering your light or dark mode choice and your cookie preferences. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner, or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Embedded content and share buttons
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images and posts from other websites, and buttons to share articles. Embedded content behaves the same way as if you had visited the other website. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as far as they need it:
- our web hosting provider
- Brevo (email newsletter and contact management)
- Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA)
- Calendly (booking calls)
- WhatsApp, a Meta company (messages you send us)
- Our email provider
We may also share data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria, for example in the European Union or the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as standard contractual clauses, as permitted by the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiries and related emails for as long as we need them to handle your request and any project that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting duties. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or limit how we use it
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- ask us to send your data to another organisation, where this applies
To use any of these rights, email contact@angeloseglobal.com. We will reply within the time the law allows. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or, outside Nigeria, to your local data protection authority.
How we protect your data
We use secure connections (HTTPS), keep our website and plugins up to date, and limit access to personal data to the people who need it.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
